Virginia CRS Chapter and Angela C. Farmer, Chairperson Public Relations and Awards.

The "Chapter with a Heart" is a unique project. The Central Virginia CRS
Chapter chooses to focus their efforts on humanitarian efforts.
Community projects give the Chapter and its members positive
publicity and feelings of goodwill and pride knowing they have helped the community. Different projects may be chosen by the Membership yearly.

The community project for the Central Virginia CRS Chapter for 2011 is Central Virginia Food Bank

The Central Virginia Food Bank has assigned the Chapter days to help with various tasks.  The most recent one was to sort and stock the shelves.  What a Team we made!  A big Thank YOU to all who helped: Laura Jarrett, Wanda Fears, Carmelita Dance, Rosie Howard, Donna Hines, Lisa Atkinson, and Angela Farmer, Chairperson who organized this day of service.
